Outbound In-App Voice Calls Fail to Complete


Symptom

My in-app Voice call doesn't reach the destination number. I don't receive the member:invited event for the phone user.

Resolution

When an app user starts an outbound call, the callServer() method is executed. This generates an API request to the Vonage platform. Upon receipt of the API request, the Vonage platform will attempt to download an NCCO from your voice application answer URL. If the NCCO download attempt fails or the destination number never receives the call, it is recommended that you first investigate that the answer URL is reachable and responds with a valid NCCO.
