Error: Phone number is already registered

Problem or symptoms

The phone number used to register an account can only be used for one account at any given time. This means that if you try to use it again for another account you will get an error message saying "This phone number is already registered".

Register a different phone number on any other accounts that you wish to create or set up:

  1. Sign out of your current account
  2. Sign into the account the phone number is currently registered to
  3. Go to change Phone Number
  4. Change phone number and verify it
  5. Sign out of your current account
  6. Sign into your other account and add your phone number
