Overview
Due to political unrest in the country, since early 2021, telecommunication and internet services have been limited or restricted. SMS traffic towards the country may be degraded until the situation changes and operations return to normal.
Sender ID
MPT (41401) and Ooredoo (41405): Both alpha and numeric Sender IDs are supported.
Telenor (41406) and MyTel (41409): Sender ID may be changed to a randomized alpha Sender ID to ensure delivery.

Unicode
Unicode is supported to all networks.
Concatenated Messages
Concatenated messages are supported.
There are no other additional content restrictions beyond those in our Acceptable Use Policy.
Other Features or Restrictions
Delivery Receipts
Handset delivery receipts are not guaranteed for Myanmar.
