We currently only accept payments in euros, but we are working towards including multi-currency into the Nexmo platform functionality.
You can change whether you view your balance in either Euros or US Dollars by going to your "Settings" -> "Account Setings" and changing the default currency for your account. You can then see your balance in the top right hand corner in either Euros or US Dollars.
The base currency will remain in Euros, since we are based in Europe and this is the currency used by the majority of our customers and our suppliers. Therefore amounts shown in USD will fluctuate with the USD-EUR exchange rate.
We recommend to treat the USD balance purely as an approximate indicator rather than a financially reliable figure. If you wish to have a fully reliable figure for your account balance, we would recommend using the EUR as the currency that is being displayed in your customer dashboard.
Note: All payments are displayed in Euros independent of the currency you select to view your balance.
